Chuck's post reminded me.

This issues pops up often.
So I wrote an article years ago for N-Scale Magazine.
They never published it.... and to be honest, with the Internet today, a website is the proper venue, not print.

So I asked for the article back a couple of months ago.   But forgot to post it here.

Thanks for the excellent write up!  I am in the middle of an NW2 rebuild and these tips on tuning it up will definitely get put into place!

  Great manual, I too downloaded it for the coming day that it will be needed. I do wish Kato would come out with a sw1, I believe Arnold had a good thing but who knows if we will ever see it again. Thanks again, Ralph
