Thanks, Peteski. I think the only thing that would make it look better is working headlights and taillights on the big rigs  :D

I saw what you did there Mark! :D
TBH, in those spectacular night shots I don't even see any big rigs.   :D

First model railroad thing i've done in a couple years besides some random purchases, started building this sango SR&RL kit.  Wanted to try an idea I had, so I've been using a small torch and solder paste to assemble it.

If you look at the road that runs along the mains on the right side of the picture you'll see a couple. They don't stand out because they don't have lights  :D

If they are going to be stationary and not move - you could use some thin clear fiber from an old Christmas tree and appropriate color LEDs wired into your aux power you use for the rest of your lights ..

Or just pretend the they are out of hours and resting :)

OK, I promised a video to prove it actually runs.... and yes, I started this project a full year ago, and got the two beater locomotives four months before that.

Now, on to the next part - putting the Tsunami sound decoder in it......!

Nice work.  The I1 was an absolute workhorse for the Pennsy during WWII.  It should have been awarded a medal for its contribution to the war effort.

Ben is not pleased with you.

No no, Ben is glad that I actually pick up the phone in the yard office when it rings... it's everyone ELSE that's giving him a headache.
