By the way, @dougnelson , you did a particularly nice job of shaping the car skirts on the model shown above.    Would you please share your technique?

Its been a while, so I do not remember specifically, but I likely used a nail file/emery board to add a radius to the bottom edge.  Slow and steady should do it.

It's been a while, but finally a little progress.
I started painting the Diner, Baggage, and American Flyer coach.
Not  a lot of progress - just the base color, which is light yellow.    I struggled a lot with which yellow to use, and took a gamble on
Tru-Color TCP-304 Illinois Terminal yellow.

Here's what that looks like on the Diner, over Tamiya Fine White primer:



Once these three cars are done I'll start on the East Wind laser-cut acrylic side kits.  I want to work out the painting first on things that are easier to replace if I screw up.
