Major advantage for the larger scales - more visual 'mass' to them...

Almost makes miss my old '70s era Lionel set...almost.

Norm's layout is one of the things that convinced me to play with O scale.

The fact that it's 3 rail just blows me away. You really DO ignore the third rail in that context.

That said, "try building an O scale tree" has thus far kept me as an equipment collector.

Stunning. In more ways than one. So much talent and creativity on parade.
But for the life of me I don't understand the third rail thing. Some things are just meant to come in pairs...

Norms trains is one my favorite model rr channels exceptional modeling I switched to HO love HO but I must admit it tempted me to do some O.
