Thank you for the heads-up, John. There are some things on that flyer alone that I should probably stock-up on.
The surplus electronics business is a quickly vanishing breed, for numerous reasons. I have a very good friend whose father founded such a store in St. Louis way back in the 1960s, eventually opening outlets in Denver and San Diego as well. The remote locations were closed in the 00s, and she closed the St. Louis store two or three years ago, after two moves to smaller spaces as the business dried up.
I was going to recommend another retailer in that genre I bought from just a couple of months ago and had experience with their retail location, Orvac Electronics in Fullerton, CA. But I just went to their site to discover that they also closed their store recently and are now reorganized as
https://www.rebuildskills.com. Probably still worth looking at.
As I said, it's a dying breed.
