All,

Trying to ascertain which ESU LokSound decoder was used in the last release of the Atlas C628 gold-level model.  I'm having difficulty getting confirmation from Atlas.  I was told it is a Select series decoder but not much else.  If anyone has one and can let me know, I'd be appreciative, as I have two silver-level units to upgrade.  Thanks.

It is the previous version Select - the 73199.  Some time ago (There are posts in the "Trading Post") I sold off all my 73199's from the various Atlas Gold engines and replaced them with the #58721 LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct - they are drop in replacements.  I had 7 C628/C630 in which I replaced the decoders so I know that is the model used originally (the 73199).

@bbussey  If you're upgrading Silver units then go with the LS 5 #58721 since they are available.
