Badger Modelflex Weathering Colors Close to Half-Off on Amazon

I'm having trouble connecting ModelFlex to weathering applications.  It's more of a paint film than anything, and generally needs to go on wet to form that film and shrink to the model.  It's semi-gloss to gloss when applied this way.

Weathering is more of a thin it down and mist it on kinda thing. and flat paint helps.  I can't imagine using ModelFlex that way, but if someone figures it out, please share the recipe!

Well, I ordered mine Monday around 7pm and they are due here sometime Wednesday, with Prime free shipping.

I used the original Floquil colors above for weathering in HO, but it was lacquer based. They are
here and the bottles look good, plastic, shook them and they seemed fine. Looked in one and no
clogs or blobs (yet).

I got mine today and they are in a different bottle than in the Amazon photos. Still are 1 oz. each, but they are taller and skinnier with a flip top lid.

I would not recommend using Isopropyl with ModelFlex.

Umm.... I've been thinning Badger Modelflex for years with IPA 100% strength with very good results - no bad reactions etc from the paint or model
