Axle lengths for MicroTrains

I have found a car that seems to have the same unmarked trucks that you took a photo of. These are roller bearing trucks with longer coupler boxes:

I also found one where bolster is blank but the bottom of the coupler box has MICRO TRAINS molded into it:

Both of these however still had .540" axles in them. I suppose it is possible that someone reamed out the bearings in your trucks and fitted the longer axles.

Actually, when I got them (2nd hand on a roundhouse boxcar), they had micro-trains plastic pizza cutter wheels and I initially tried putting in Micro-trains metal wheels.  However as they were a bit loose I found the .553 atlas metal wheels a better fit (while still being free rolling).  Of course a previous owner potentially could have reamed out the bearings (but I’ve had other older micro-trains trucks, both roller bearing and friction bearing that easily took the .553 metal wheelsets).   All my newer micro-trains trucks will only take an axle with max length .540
