Just got my "pay for your preorder" notification for my ST Conrail SD40-2s

Atlas does this as well for their Silver locomotives... I wish ST would do the same. At the least a speaker pre-installed would add some mass into that hole in the fuel tank.

It would be nice if ST added speakers but I would like them to do it like Atlas (so it would be better optimized): effective speaker enclosure without holes in the fuel tank to let the sound "out."

Mine arrived yesterday. The decoration on the Altoona trials locomotive is exquisite. I haven't run them yet. I think I could just sit and look at them, and they'd still be worth the price.

My 1982-era ALCG train (Allentown to Corning/Gangs Mills before the GE's were assigned) will look great behind these.
