Inside the cab of NYC 999 last night. Being a turn of the century Pennsy fan, this felt strangely similar to walking through the U-505 that I had done a few minutes earlier.

One of the few remaining 25th Anniversary units I hadn’t seen yet came through the Joint Line today.

Earlier this month, again at the Streamliners 22 event held in Goulburn, New South Wales, a night time phone grab of some more EMD product.
From left to right:
42101 - is operational and privately owned, usually used on heritage operations
CLP11 - is privately owned (branded Railpower) and is in the process of being re-activated for commercial lease after almost a decade in storage.
CL17 - owned by a volunteer group and under restoration. Was re-manufactured by MKA and renumbered CLP10 in 1993, but is been restored back to its original condition. In 1972 was tast streamliner built in the world with the classic bulldog nose.
CLP13 - same as for CLP11
