Showcase Miniatures has announced a new N scale pumper truck based on the Business Class M2.  https://www.showcaseminiatures.net/n_scale/n_scale_vehicles/140.html

Production of the prototype M2 trucks started in June 2002, and the styling has been unchanged for the past 19 years!

Very nice, and the kit includes an etched stainless steel grille!  The grilles are molded into the hood on the earlier versions of the Showcase M2 trucks that I have.

Guessing this would be a Pierce Manufacturing M2 truck conversion.

Probably a good bet. I think the ladder truck was a Pierce as well.

I'm going to see if I can order the chassis and cab of the ladder along with this kit to make a custom chassis pumper which would be more at home in MA. You don't see a lot of commercial chassis models here due to the size limits of the existing fire stations.

Neville and Dan,

You are correct, the email announcement that Walter and Debbie sent out states the truck is "Pierce based."

Daniel...

That is a conversion we will be looking into and will likely be made into a kit.
