I inherited a loco with a 78199 decoder installed- they installed the front & real lights (LEDS) on the board on the reverse side by soldering to the very small pads . Well the LEDs were to much strain on the small pads and were pulled off. I think it pulled the traces that go from one side to the other loose. This made the pads dead. I am trying to make the Aux3 & Aux4 work has front and rear lights.
I re mapped the FO function so the Aux3 & Aux4 should come on . Do I have to take the FO function for h/l-r/l to off?
Or should the Aux functions come on when FO is on too? So far I have not been successful in making the AUX functions come on.
