Nice, the revised plan looks great with lots of operating enjoyment. Though I am not modeling the rails in that area, I am currently modeling the truss bridge there at Himrods Junction. We have been up that way a while back and snapped quite a few pix of that bridge. Beautiful area there, had a great time. I really like the strong skew of that truss span and it shows the versatility of steel bridges. Since I just had to model it I'll find a place to erect it, there is a similar track arrangement on my railroad where I could fudge it in. Good luck!  look forward to seeing your progress!

The only thing I find lacking about the literature on the Elmira Branch is the post steam power. I have  pictures of Fs and some early 2nd gen power, but nothing to the extent as the I1 days.
Yeah, I suppose a lot of photographers put their cameras away after the last steam engine dropped its fire.  In defense of the photographers though, there are only six years between the last I1 on the Elmira Branch and the first PRR GP30.  It's only 5 before the first NYC GP30 was delivered.  I bet you a nickel that if you run a solid mix of geeps and F-units with some reasonably-functional Alcos sprinkled in, you'll pretty well nail it.
