OK,I got back to the question about where to get a custom backdrop printed, and I did not find what I can remember seeing somewhere when this thread started about 6 months ago.  I already posted the link to trainjunkies.com, and I can find some e-mails that I exchanged with them.  But, I also remember a discussion somewhere about getting them printed at Staples.  I know I went in to my local staples and asked some questions, and yes, they can print backdrops in various widths in really long lengths, because they are printing onto a roll of paper.  But, that does not answer the question about the best place to get them printed.

I suspect that I found something about this in some other web group, maybe Facebook, YouTube or the like and got the Trainjunkies link from that.  I remember that there was another link, too, but did not contact it and have no record of what it was.

Sorry I can't come up with more, at this time.  Maybe look it up in Encyclopedia Peteski?  Or, Ed K posted that he was starting an article on this subject.  He has had 6 month since then, so maybe he has made it to the "print" part by now.  If neither of those guys "drop by" this thread and post something about printing, maybe PM them.

I used Bill Brown of LARC to print my own photo-based backdrop graphics and love the peel and stick material he uses. It’s tough as nails, repositionable (to a point) and waterproof. I’ll use him again for more when the time comes.
