How do you all make them?  I tried to find some printed ones that I could download with no luck.  There is one style I could find on Shapeways.

Those should be fairly straightforward  with either Tinkercad or Sketchup. Do you have pics of what you want?
I could be persuaded to throw some together.

I could use just a general shape that I could print out on regular paper.  I think I might try to design something for my Silhouette cutter.  I just couldn't thin of anything that was commercially available.

Painted tissue papper over a simple frame gives pretty good looking awnings, esp the big storefront ones that have sags which you easily duplicate with the thin paper.

Woodland Scenics makes a sheet of vacuum molded plastic awnings in various sizes (for inclusion with some of their building kits) -



I contacted them a few years ago about purchasing some for myself and they very kindly sent me a half dozen sheets for free instead. Dunno if they're still doing that, but worth a try.
