That's the million dollar question... because it'll cost me about that much if they do them in N. IMO, they'll do them, but one must wait and see... iirc they have some upcoming N scale announcements.

And know a few of the guys at Rapido, and they have admitted to me - nothing

I'd be in for a bunch....   The CN cars were extremely common  on CR.  CP showed up too and even a THB from time to time.

Usually on SEAL/ALSE (so moving from Canada to the South East.)

Anyone know what traffic they carried?  My guess was lime or similar minerals...

IMRC does the NSC (National Steel Car) version and Pacific Western does the HS (Hawker Sidley) version. Marine Industries also made the 4550 cars but no manufacturer has made these.

Marine Industries 4650 would also be a good car for manufacturers to consider.

the cars that I mention where produced between 1973 and 1985. I think the earliest (aluminium) cars were scrapped a few years ago.

No and yes...

The IMRC cars are accurate for NSC 4550s as mentioned above.

However IMRC has done them in many paint schemes that only existed on other cars, including the 3800s, so one needs to be careful.

Marine Industries 4650 would also be a good car for manufacturers to consider.

I suspect you will see the MIL variant from NARC at some point in the future, as it requires modest modifications to their existing tooling for the HSC car.

The cars I'd like to see are the Marine Industries 4650 cuft "export" (from Canada to US) cars with the tapered ends
