Well, I finally had a chance to test my new Neiko cordless and at this early point, I like it! It charges very quickly, and I was able to solder a handful of railjoiners to a relatively large profile Shinohara track I use in my hidden staging yard. It transferred heat quickly, no fuss, no mess, no cords. We'll see how it does for more extensive work under the layout, but so far, so good.
