Also, I believe he acquired the old Arrowhead Scale Models line.  I have the Arrowhead #60-103 kit (among others) that looks like Randy's N-103 Downtown Fire Station.

Not an acquired firm, Randy formerly manufactured products (i.e., circa 1990s) under the trade name Arrowhead Scale Models.

With some of the items offered in ready-to-use, factory decorated form, the resin products marketed under the Arrowhead Scale Models brand were composed of quality, flash-free castings.

His "modern" Fire engine looks like a 1970s era Mack CF. They haven't been mass produced since the early 80s.

I guess "modern" can be a relative term.  If compared against the early steam era, '70s are modern. Maybe if he produced a fire engine which is in current use, he would call it "contemporary"?

I have had my Arrowhead #60-103 kit for at least 20 years, so at the time the kit was first produced, the fire engine was relatively modern.
