While delivering a car to Florida, I found this gem in Hardeeville, SC:

Also, this weekend I went to Altoona to watch some NS:

With 9 locomotives, some "heritage" PC/Conrail, and a scale test car, it was a interesting night.

Little upset this past weekend. BNSF Columbia River Sub is no more. Stripped and packed for move. Board with scenery and track going to good home, a fellow railroader.

Understandable. A little piece of you goes with it. But on the bright side, now you have some funds and clean sheet to start a new one with your experiences learned to make the next one better yet. Only caution is not to get too tied down with the planning function be it scheme, era, locale, or concept.

Juneau, huh?  When we visited two summers ago it rained the whole time...but we did a salmon bake there that blew my mind it was so good!  Also, Alaskan Amber is one of my favorite ambers.

Nice work Tim! Cleanest wiring I've ever seen.

Craig

Yeah, Tim does some amazing work - I always enjoy seeing photos of his work.

No modeling for  me. I spent the week on the island of Ilesboro, Maine. It is nice to unplug from the busy world, relax and just do nothing for few days.  :)

Here are some photos. These were actually taken in 2015, the last time we visited. We took few photos this time but haven't uploaded them to my computer yet (and not much has changed).
