WOW!  That is awesome Chris.  This is probably the fastest time anybody went from a photo to a detailed model!

I added a .040" radiator cap (didn't want support material under it or I would have added it to the 3D), .0125" grab irons and start crank. BTW the piece hanging off the back wall is a bending jig for all those grab irons.  :scared:  Did 2 simple brass tube headlights and an exhaust stack. In the real photo it looks like the exhaust is towards the rear, but this is my model  :) Also put in a simple wall to divide the motorman from the passengers.




I ordered another revised model, if that one turns out OK I might paint this one up and sell on ebay. It is one of a kind RARE after all.  :D  After that I will offer them for sale on Shapeways.

Figure I will put this here. Of course when you post something at Shapeways all you get is hey can you change this or that. Someone asked for a railbus and I sorta thought I could use one as well so I turned the same basic 3D model into a HOn30 rail bus.
