Bob Striesel’s Glory Hole

Bob Striesel’s Glory Hole.  N scale 12 x 14 hard shell scenery, 10 years in the making, DC operation hand built power supply, fantastic scenery, most buildings are hand built.  Very nice layout.  Train was run way too fast making the video look like a roller coaster.  Layout will be torn down or sold in the very near future because of health reasons.

Combination of Matterhorn and Mine Train. Both were "E" ticket rides, IIRC. :D

That's way different from the glory holes that @Ed Kapuscinski
That name is such a distraction from the work.
Kinda makes you wonder how much more fame @Dr Hotballs would have if he had instead modeled the "Route of the Glass Bottom Boat".

That being said, it's now MY goal to get something I'm going to call the "Hot Karl Line" in to MR. I will model pre-WW2 between Cleveland and Chicago (no diesel, steamers only!). I already have basic ops worked out.
Train No. 2 departs Cleveland (after the morning coffee to get things moving) with it's manure drag on the way to the Windy City. It only runs in the summer.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."
