I left the existing trucks, I simply cut the coupler extensions off them. I body mounted 1023s. There is a small lip on the bottom of the end platforms. You must cut, file or sand some of it to accommodate the 1023. Other than that drill a small hole in the end platform and screw the 1023 right onto the bottom of the end platforms. It will be at the proper height.
