How the times have changed . . . Back in the day we used to look for new model announcements in printed model magazines, and then maybe ask in the hobby shops for more info. When the model finally arrived, it would be available on the hobby shop's shelves for years at a time.
Nowadays, manufacturers, using their websites or social media, keep us up to date on a status of a new model. If even more accurate info is needed, we can actually address the product designers or the upper management of the model company and they give us the scoop. Just like that! Aren't these the greatest times in this hobby?
