LED Ditch Lights for Athearn ES44AC

I wish to fit LEDS in the existing Ditch light pods of an Athearn Genesis BNSF ES44AC, as these are mounted on the footplate how do you get the original globes out, once out I should be right, but I don't wish to create any unnecessary damage.

My apologies if this has been covered before, I just couldn't find info no matter how much I searched.

Depends on how it is put together.  I don't have one to look at, but if there are parts that are glued together you can sometimes gently pry them apart, or perhaps a de-bonding agent will work.

Sometimes things will break even if you are careful.  If so, you can probably find appropriate replacement ditch light parts from Details West.  In some cases it might be easier just to start with the idea of replacing them anyways.
