I wouldn't worry about the exaggerated rivets - a layer or two of paint will hide them nicely. Be sure to use a primer first.  ;)

No, no, that's how we cover the glue stains..... ;)

Rivets are a "final fix"... that said, I am beginning to warm to grapefruits........ :lol:

Pudd,
I don't know if its just me, but the peak of the roof compared to the curve in the windows looks too high.

Still looking forward to this release in some PC! And Ex-NH!

Update: Those of you that were at Amhurst saw the latest pre production samples of the long awaited FL9 in N scale. I'm pleased to report final tweeks have been made and we're in production as I type.....

With any luck, on North American shores by early May, in stores June 1.

I always thought the same... "are we freezing these poor ladies"? Turns out that they dress the same, summer or winter... the assembly room is comfortable; heated and cooled... Jason just says that's how they almost all arrive for work, stay dressed for work and are comfortable.... different strokes for different folks I guess.... (They even leave that stuff on during the lunchtime ping pong games - highly competitive and agressive table tennis players.... not for the timid.... LOL

I prefer watermelons to grapefruit. Are the grab irons bananas?

So; the factory sends you the "next" version of the N scale FL9 off the changes made to the moulds. Now; they didn't make all the changes you asked for because a/ some get made at the very end, ie: rivets and b/ they either misunderstood the change requested or  they didn't change something right/enough for your tastes..... The question is; do you show your Railwire buddies.....? Ah, what the hell.....
So; the battens and rivets are yet to be fixed... they are still grapefruits but that's a last change thing.....

The mould lines are making the nose look horrid; haven't rounded and buffed yet... they'll go.....

The black number boards look like stand outs.... needs work....

Ok; what else gang?..... Hey' it's coming along......

The color is wrong.

@Puddington,

Sorry to be late to the party here, but did anyone mention that the model seems to be missing the anticlimber above the pilot?
