It appears that shapeways sent out an individual code to all content creators to forward a 10$ savings on to friends and family. For each usage of this code, the content creator will then get a 10$ savings on an order at the end of April. Erik will get 10$ off his next order for each person who uses smwrm as a code. If one were to use wsi5c, then I would get the discount for example. Lemosteam, you will likely get an email shortly with your own promo code.

@CNR5529 I probably didn't read it correctly and I assumed there was one code (silly me, free cash for everyone...). After reading more carefully, the user has to click the "Follow" button AND use the designer's individual code:

1.   Invite your friends to follow you on Shapeways.
2.   Which your friends do, because how can they resist seeing all the cool stuff you're doing and sharing?
3.   And, bonus!, they can use promo code: smwrm that saves them $10 on their first order placed by 4/15.
4.   You get treated like a hero for introducing them to Shapeways.
5.   And, double bonus!, at the end of April, YOU get $10 off for EACH friend who used the coupon to place an order. So if 5 of your friends order, that's $50 for you. 10 friends = $100. And 30 friends...well, you can do the math.

Someone also tested it, and it only works for accounts that have never ordered before. So they now encourage everyone to make a fake e-mail address?
