Yep, that is correct.

You realize that photo two weeks ago sent me on a quest to find D&H blue? I finally found a few bottles online. In fact, I ended up stripping several projects after noticing the (admittedly VERY old "AccuFlex") CR blue was way too light.

John, he is out of most B23 shell parts. I bought them out already

Lol. I didn't. Glad I could inspire you to go do that. I grabbed an extra bottle myself last week. Just to be safe.

Also, the great irony is that Accuflex is probably accurate, it's just that the darker blue looks better on models.

You know I'm convinced Conrail changed their paint formula sometime around 1989/1990 when they started using conspicuity stripes. I always saw CRQ paint jobs as two shades lighter. But this Accuflex paint was way too light. Much lighter than later Modelflex paints.

One of the guys in the NSHS has a set of paint chips for the NS Baldwins.  I called up Dupont to ask about them, and they had no clue except for the yellow for the handrails (which happens to be an OSHA color)
