Someone had the bright idea to farm on top of an ice floe?

I've seen tractors half buried in mud in spring in Illinois.  Never thought to model one - cool, and nicely done!

Looks good, hit it with some flat and it will pop.
As it sits, it's catching the light and looks more rainy/muddy then dust/rust.

See if I can get the tractor out to coat it lol.

Use a piece of cardstock to protect the dirt while you spray?
Either way it's a cool little dio and is good looking!

Is protection really needed?  The dirt is already flat, so giving the entire diorama a spray of Dullcote will probably be ok.

I'd add a few clumps of burnt grass / or some tufts of horsehair .. otherwise, very effective
