 :?
  which Con-Cor SW7 ?
   the Athearn powered one ?
or the Kato Powered one ?
the body is a 1956 Revell casting which has some U.P. specific details on
some versions-the top mounted number boards, the end ladders to the
top of the hood.matched the U.P. Cajon Pass Pushers, but didn't have the
Dynamic Brakes, which were later removed.and front tool box, that some
   other roads also had.
the Kato drive unit was also used in the SW1500 and to this day is the only
Kato motored unit that runs HOT,really HOT here.
if You can get the Kato drive cheap,go for it.
Athearn drive should be even cheaper as they need standard Athearn BB
Up-Grades to get a decent running unit.

What he said.
In addition, some Kato versions had traction tires. Not a plus in my book.
ES&BM offers fast service, no matter how long it takes!

   OPPPS !
    forgot the Kato traction Tire.
but the one here went quickly as it was replaced with Atlas/Kato
drivers from a Project making Dummy RS-3s and RS-11s.
remember the time in the early 90s when Bev-Bel was selling
complete Atlas/Kato decorated bodies for under $10.00.
and Atlas was selling available Kato frames and parts for under $5.00.
got the 1st EL RS-3 here by getting the Bev-Bel EL body and an undec
RS-3 which became a dummy eventually as parts needed were acquired.
the 90s were "Intresting Times to Live In" !!
