I couldn't decide if I wanted to start a new thread or go with this old one. You see my choice. Anyway, the Walthers catalog arrived this week. What do I see on page 67 in HO but Wabash 650! Listed as an 85 foot Budd Baggage-Lounge. There is also an SP 85 foot Budd Diner that would be a (closer than I normally see) foob for Wabash diner 51. I haven't seen the other side yet but the kitchen side looks like a good foundation for reworking. Lengthen the windows and eliminate the extra door. But alas this is HO not N.
I hope this is what they might be thinking in N scale for 650. At least there is a ray of hope! Your thoughts?
