To make it more prototypical you may need to get the one with the coal tender, empty the bunker, remove the drive rods and motor and tow it around...

Where is the link to this announcement?...I saw it yesterday and downloaded the the file to my pad, but can't find it here...I hemmed and hawed when the Big Boy was last released, so I missed the boat on them...this new re-release is a welcome one for me, especially if there is anything improved from the last release. Although ATSF is, by far, the main player in my layout plans, Union Pacific and Southern Pacific are supporting cast members. A Big Boy is an essential piece for my 1957 era UP drag frieght and/or helper service for a Union Pacific "City of..." Streamliner.Bruce

Same situation as the last run. I didnt buy, too expensive for a single locomotive and no option for no sound.
Athearn N scale Big Boy announcement - Due June 2016... with and without sound.
I looked on the Athearn website and they say late November 2015. I'm not sure where the June date came from??
