Online hobby shops running Black Friday sales?

I just saw u18b 's thread with the Kato parts sale...are there any online model railroad shops running sales? I have a couple hungry N scalers (8 and almost 10 years old) with long scrolling Chistmas lists that I want to start working on!

Fifer Hobby Supply has 10% off everything for Black Friday. http://www.fiferhobby.com/  Mike's a stand up guy who models in N scale - and has his grandson making bank custom weathering rolling stock no less.

Exact Rail is offering some larger discounts on some of their N scale rolling stock through Nov 30 on their website. Actually tempting.

I don't think most model railroad related businesses operate with enough of a margin to afford major discounts on one day of the year seeing we shop so much based on already discounted prices.

Thanks for the heads up -- ordered a couple of decoders from them yesterday.

Thanks everyone for finding the deals. If you see more come up, please post here.

Omatrack, I didn't see anything mentioned on TrainWorld's website for the 10%...did you get a code in email or something? If you have a link to see it, that would work too.

Hi Ryan
It was a Thursday thru Saturday special as it is now off the website.  The code was Turkey14 that you put into the comment section to get 10% off but there were a number of exclusions (no new releases).   Still time to get the order in tonight.

There were a handful of free shipping offers out there, must of had 15 emails this weekend.

Free Time Trains is running a Cyber Monday sale today.  Looks like the same assortment they had for the Black Friday sale.

Got an email this morning that Walthers is running 10% off in stock items, including stuff that is already on sale.

Cheers,
Brian

Thanks for the link to Freetimetrains! I checked out their site, and I was amazed to find an Athearn Cotton Belt bay window caboose in stock. I snapped one up immediately. Merry Christmas to me!

Hmm... what about the
rest of the world? What
about ME...?
