Looking for magazine recommendations

Can anyone recommend an English-language model railroading magazine that focuses on European models? One that dates back to the 1960s would be nice. And one that specializes in N scale would be even better. Doesn't have to be published in the US (in fact, I'd assume it wouldn't be).

Thanks!

I have seen none in Germany or elsewhere in continental Europe, but I would imagine there are many suitable magazines from the UK.

Continental Modeller, indeed.
I had a one year subscription to Railway Modeller as a Christmas present, but at $120 per year I could easily use that same figure to purchase a new Dapol engine or plenty of PECO wagons.

So, Railway Modeller = UK and Continental Modeller = The Rest of Europe?

Thanks,

It depends on what you mean by European. If you mean the Continent then Continental Modeler is good, if you're more interested in Britain then there are a number of good magazines available.

I'm interested in all of Europe (which in my Americanized view of things includes the UK).

Thanks,
-Mark

I don't know of a magazine in English other than the ones already mentioned.
There is a good magazine for N Scale but it is in German:

Model Railway Journal is very good, unfortunately it is quarterly instead of monthly. Model Rail and BRM (formerly British Railway Modeler) are both very good as well. Hornby Magazine and Railway Modeler aren't as good as the others but they aren't awful either.

As far as I remember Continental Modeller is Europe, USA and even rest of the world.
