Northwestern Pacific freight car question

Atlas has announced an N scale double sheathed boxcar in Northwestern Pacific.  Did the NWP have any interchange cars by the early 70s?  I don't remember ever seeing one, none of the photo sites I have links for list one, and a 1972 "Guide to Railroad Officials" says they had "81 misc cars", while interchange cars are usually listed by that guide as "## freight cars".

If they did have interchange cars, a second question would be, "what kinds?".

I'd have to go home and check my books, but I don't think they had any interchange cars by 1970.  SP had pretty much just run it as a branch by then.

Matt:  Thank you.  I asked this question on the N scale board, where someone had posted artwork for a new Atlas boxcar, and two respondents confirmed that the Official Register showed no interchange cars in 1965, while they still had some in 1953.

^ No problem.  NWP has been my fascination since I was in high school, so this was fun to see pop up. 

The Express cars (which I posted a pic of in the N scale thread) are the 1900 series cars you're referencing in 1953.  They're cool.  Maybe Atlas will run those some day too.
