Anyone out that way interested in measuring the Muir Trestle bents for me ??
The Train Ride is at Lakemont, The bridge the train is about to go over, crosses Brush Run behind the first base line at Blair County Ballpark. My Daughter works at Delgrosso's, their train is much more Toy like than what they used to run. The original, "Little Toot" is now on display.
You. Wouldn't. Dare... I have absolutely no place for it, it's ginormously long, and I would buy one in a heartbeat. However, I might be able to oblige. Perhaps MC and I can schedule that "date night".
Just go ahead and double dare me ! I promised Jerry DeBene that I would work on it little by little. I already got the Deck Girder which is the correct length and height.Already did the original steam era railing (NOT the updated modern railing)Now all I need now are the trestle bents.

Sam Damn, the front of the engine looks a lot what is a Delgrosso's (and what I made my assumption off of): Its pretty bad that I can't remember things that I live 45 minutes from and have childhood memories (supposedly).

^ My guess is that they were built by the same company. Most everything at theme parks, and local fairs is built by a handful of manufacturers, even back in the 60's. That loco is found in multiple little amusement parks all over the country.
