Nashville & Eastern BNSF Colors

The N&E locomotives are a colorful combinatio, with everything from Conrail to Santa Fe. I'm not sure if they buy them this way or repaint them as a salute to fallen flags. Some of them look freshly painted, so maybe it is a salute.

Caught these two at a grade crossing...

There was a post not too long ago here about BNSF selling off most or all of it's B40-8W's - which is what these look like...

I did a little digging and found this link for the N&E
With the exception of a few EMD units, their roster is primarily made up of GE units from about everyone!
