I for one support Robbman's curmudgeonness...but some of us want to hear about the flaws in any manufacturers' product.  ( Yes, but how many times regarding the same one...? ) Not so we can take sides, per se, but so we can decide if we can live with the flaws or fix them to represent what we want.  I mean, come on, MTL's notorious for releasing a body style and trying to pass it off as anything close. ( I would submit they have been doing multiple paint schemes on whatever bodies they have and I don't think they make any literal prototypical claims..... if you think their liner notes are a affidavid on prototypical authenticity then we clearly differ on their intent) ...Between MTL and IMRC the newb will think the PFE-design was the only car in existence. (I was wondering, are we here to police what newbies think.. I'm not)  But numerous manufacturers do it. (and some people comment on them but clearly not all do; nor with the same enthusiatic spirit that MTL garner from some here)  There's a line that we all call our own that we don't cross.  (That line clearly has been established by the replacement NFL refs now that they have messed up the league...)....  But I like being edumacated. (So do I, but there's a difference in "edumacation" and beaing beaten over the head for months on end by the same song.... and I don't mind the doors... sorry !)

Enough of the MTL 60' car bashing.... done... move on.
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Look, if MTL didnt release a few things a month then we would not be able to get our quota of complaining in.
