The "Small Space Solutions" theme in September Model Railroader features three trackplans from  M.C. Fujiwara.

Congratulations M.C. on a very nice article. I sent them an email asking why you didn't get a byline on the web page!

Best wishes, Dave

If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Thanks for the kind words, gents.

Sent them that article almost a year ago, so it's nice to see it finally in print with nicely rendered layout drawings.
As a writer & editor myself, it was interesting to see the edits & rewrites they did to fit their style sheet -- not an experience I've had with Joe F in MRH or with Byron Henderson in LDSIG Journal -- but, as Byron reminded me, they really know their target audience and have a very successful business model.  And it's great to see them get more N scale stuff into the magazine.

What's groovy is I've already received a bunch of emails from "armchair" and first-time modelers asking for advice in their new dive into N scale, so it appears the Re-N-volution continues (and will be televised  :D)

Congrats, also, to Dr. Dave Vollmer (one of the dudes who got me into modeling N scale) on his up-coming appearance in Great Model Railroads, as well as to all you Asshats who take the time to write, photo and share all your great work online and in publications.
And more of you should!
Truly inspirational!
Cheers!

M.C rules, MR doesn't for me. I sent them a change of address email in May. The said it
would start with the SEPT issue and would mail me the magazines from JUNE, JULY and
AUGUST. I ain't no rocket scientist, but would it be easier to put through the change
of address and mail separate magazines?

I haven't even shot the spread yet...  I'm slated for the 2014 GMR, not 2013.

Do you have to shoot your own spread or does MR send one of their roving photographers?
