Craig,

Whe's the next new body style coming? Any hints as to what it will be?

Yeah I'm womdering the same thing. I would love some Bluford equipment, but I have no need for open hoppers or autoboxes. I have the transfer cab on order, but I would love to actually have some freight cars. Some ideas to consider:
13k gallon acid tank
19k gallon corn syrup tank
NACC/Trinity/Thrall PD3000
NACC/Trinity/Thrall PD5150 << my personal fave
Trinity centerflow style 2 bay hopper
60's/70's era 53' gon
PC&F 5277 box
Berwick 5277 box
57' FGE reefer (owned  by FGE, BNFE, BNSF, and rebuilt by UP)
PC&F 14' plug door 50' box
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

I love this site.  A product is announced, and the response is:  what's next?  LOL :ashat:

Well, when you're modeling a road that didn't have online auto suppliers or manufacturers; and an era where it didn't roster the three-bay offered by the manufacturer yet (and I've purchased all those of neighboring roads that I can include in my trains); and the road didn't use transfer cabooses remotely similar to those Bluford offers, what do you say but "I hope Bluford makes something I can use soon"? It's all good that Bluford's products are getting snatched up by others and I'm glad said other customers are happy but reality says me, me, me...

Probably not.
Walthers makes the PS hicube.
Athearn and seveal others make the OS hopper.
Not sure about the RS hopper, maybe old WKW.
Transfer cabeese!?!
BWA HA HA HA HAHA!!! :P

I think its awesome that Bluford has commited to making every paint scheme one could possibly ever want for their cars.  And as one that buys about every auto-industry related model rail product one can imagine, I love it even more.

But I to would like to see Bluford make something else.  They make a high quality product at a fair price in a huge variation.  I'd really like to see them do something else, and if was auto industry related, all the better.

Bowser and Accurail both make the offset side hopper in HO. The 14-Panel Rib Side hopper is in the Stewart line in HO.
No hints on our next new tooling although I can say Daniel will be disappointed

Most are so similar, I will take anything at this point. As you said yourself, if BLMA were to make the car, they would probably do schemes from all three on a single car.

Craig, any hope for a modern modeler? Anything at all?

Not in the near term but down the road? Absolutely!  Seriously, your list isn't a bad one...
