Do you have a branch to the Rosiclaire fluorspar mines? At the time of the mines' closing, it was an NS branch. Can't figure the predecessor line.

Hi Jerry,

NKP is a favorite of mine too  8) (mostly because of T.Koester and Herron Rail videos should I add  ;D)
The NKP modelers Yahoo group is friendly and well documented BTW, beside the 'big' NKP Yahoo group.
NKP modeling seems to be pretty well supported by Nscale traders, what kind of motive power/rolling stock do you run
(or would like to) for this RR ?

Welcome Jerry! I've been looking at the Midwest myself and recently changed gears from the WP to the CGW. I have to admit though, the Monon and C&IM both caught my eyes too.

Marc and Brian, you guys need to differentiate your logos somehow. At least you can tell Jason and I apart readily.

Bryan,

Can't tell for Brian, but for me, the Q herald is a sacred thing, which I can't add to or subtract from... ;D

Now seriously, Midwest fallen flags truly rock, and I'd be at a loss to tell which one is better eye candy than an other, just think of the GMO
cab units for instance... :)
Jerry's favorites RR are neat too  8)

I didn't change the CGW logo, just the background. It could be found on three different colored locos + boxcar red and other freight colors. I decided on the last shade of red for my background.

What, the Q logo could be found on white (dirty white), black, maroon, silver, grey, reefer yellow, Chinese red, and several shades of green backgrounds...

Jerry

QUICK, RUN AWAY, FAR AWAY...

Before you know it, these internet hoodlums will have you buying a bigger house, for a bigger layout, and they'll brainwash you into spending all your freetime here. hahahaa.

Seriously, your in a good place. These guys are a lot of fun, and none of the stress like some other forums.

Joe. (who doesn't model anything currently due to confusion and economic distress)

Muwahahaha... Hey Brain, whatta we gonna do tonight?

But I digress. Actually, CGW is the only one I can focus on. The Milwaukee, M&StL, Burlington and the other Hill lines, Soo,  Monon... they're all like shiny objects just at the edge of my peripheral vision, enticing me. There are so many cool Midwestern roads that my library's exploded and I've inadvertently financed Bob Yanosey's new yacht.
