I have to pass this along.  I've posted some links to these before, but this guy keeps adding to the pile.  Check it out:

http://cs.trains.com/trccs/forums/t/162879.aspx?PageIndex=1

He's up to 6 pages of entries of full color vintage advertising signs that can be resized and printed out to make decals, billboards, what have you.  An amazing selection of ads covering about 1920-1970.

I take it you noticed the add for Western Maryland. Thanks. Now I need to get a color printer.

I load them into a thumb drive and take them to Staples.  I have them printed on glossy photo paper and get really good results!

Cheap!

Super stuff! Thanks! My favorite is, of course "Buxom Melons", which, clearly, is redundant.  ;D

I really wish someone would do this for modern or semi-modern signs. I would love to have some Texaco, Mobil, Chevy, McDonalds signs and billboards.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Stop wishin' and start compilin'.  Of course, the Buxom Melons folks probably don't have as many lurking attorneys as McDonalds and Budweiser...

He has been posting these over on Trainboard for a few months. Follow the link at the end of his post for many more.

Here is his album with all of them...4 pages worth of signs at 24 per album page, 20-30 signs per image.
