Ah, yes! I pull up espeeboy's 48' spine car pictures frequently for reference and inspiration and his 57' spine car page inspired my kitbash of one of those too.

I do like the rust effect you have there, Gary, which is something I tried to capture but mine came out a little darker in color.

As far as the warning label you seek....those signs like in the above picture are only included around hitches that don't have rear covers (why some have covers and some don't is somewhat of a mystery).

Hitches with rear covers have their own stickers and labels that look more like this (from the same car, different platform)....

A you know, with the MLE hitches you get the rear covers (necessary part of the locking mechanism) and the markings for those can be achieved with other decals off Microscale 60-822 (I use the little reflective stripes to represent the white label on the side).

Thanks for the tips! ;D

Russ, I know how you can feel about weathering N-scale. If you make it look like a proto-photo, it usually looks just too darn dark on a layout. I've wished a thousand times for a "scale black" for Frisco deisels. Except in photos, even with weathering, black engines look alot like "black holes" on the layout. Too much of the great detail dissapears. Ah, such is life.
