Sergent compatible dummy coupler

For uncoupling, I don't see the problem of gently lifting a car up to uncouple.  So these dummy couplers look like a good solution.

McHenry couplers are garbage.  I've lost so many springs just moving the cars from box to workbench to weather.

Why not go Sergent on all of em? I know it may seem like a high cost up front but its worth it. I have about 75 cars and 5 locomotives with em so far, but I have several to go.

The passenger cars have em as well, its a PIA with the diaphragms, but it works out ok with the uncoupling stick.

Well, I'm looking for (in this order):

1.  Looks
2.  No visible springs
3.  Robustness
4.  Operational quality

The only difference with the dummy ones is they can't uncouple with the magic wand, right?

Yes, the dummy's you have to lift up the car and drop em in...and they are cast in black...other than that no difference.

And the new SE couplers should be out in May with improved tooling to make em look even better.

The dummy's have less detail.  If you alternate the couplers, you can uncouple a Sergent from a dummy with the wand.
