While not too official, here's a patch:

If the logo on the engine does have the squiggly lines, it sould be easy to draw, right?

Steve, are you looking for the last herald they used or the older one you posted?

I have some documents from the HB&T with decent color version of the new herald- I am not sure if they have a decent pciture of the old herald though.

I have two problems- 1. I do not have a scanner. 2. I do not have a webpage to host files on.

I you have potential solution sot these problems, I would be interested in giving you a hand.

By the way, I am from Houston and I have fond memories of the HB&T. It's dissoution in the UP-SP merger was one of the dumbest things to come out of it. I have maybe seen one other modeler down here with an HB&T engine. Is your fellow modeler doing a layout in Houston or does he just like the HB&T scheme?

Based on his reply to Chris, I'm assuming he wants the one he originally posted.  Here's the best I found so far:

http://www.railpixs.com/hbt/HBT_shops_Houston_April90a.jpg

It shows the squiggles and the double circles.

Not great but all I have Steve..........

Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!
