Are these the ones that show "pre-order" at most sites?

Yes, they are. Should land in the USA later this month...shipped from China on January 28th.

Chinese PS-2 Hoppers, all the rage.

I was tempted to order one but I didn't want to wait since there are other things that I need just as bad at this point, like more structures and a set of track cutting pliers.

Do these have new 100T trucks? The couplers look like they have short shanks and a bit underslug. If this is the case, I see a LOT of possibilities for that truck.

Wait a minute! The cars shipped from China on 1/28 are the PS-2's, the two bay shorties from the 1950's and 1960's. The 4750's were announced on June 28, 2007 and arrived at shops in December, with another batch due this July. Oddly, Atlas shows them available in BN, DME, NOKL, and Union Equity but does not show exactly when they arrived.

Too modern for me, so I can't tell you what they look like.

The 4750s are the ones I'm wanting, but I can't find them in stock.

My bad, somehow got PS-2's stuck on my brain. Yes, the first run of the 4750's arrived in December/January. Pretty much gone now I think. More coming in July.
