He wrote an article on this in the July 2006 issue of RMC. The magazine article has some more pictures (and many of the same ones) and goes into more detail on the technique, but even the online version shows enough to see the outstanding results.

Excellent stuff Harold!

Your articles are some of the best I've ever seen published. You always have enough info and photos, from the start of the process to completion, that any one can follow them. There are far too many articles published that skip too many steps leaving you guessing what went on in between. While advanced modelers can get enough info from them to make it through, your articles contain enough info that any modeler, regardless of experience, can achieve great results.

Actually I cringe a little when I read my published articles for the first time. It is not the stuff the editor leaves out but stuff they add that scares me. But I have gotten over most of that and realize it is part of the business.
