SP SD38-2 and 39s

Trying to work out which of the Mark4 shells I need for an SP SD38-2s, I'm suspecting #206 or #207 but not sure ? Or is it time period dependent ?

Also regarding the SP SD39s, when were the different versions used? Were the 35 series intakes replaced with the 40s or were these different orders ?

thanks in advance

Simon

Perusing
espee.railfan.net makes me think the following:

SD39 5300-5325
unfortunately there are some differences that I can't quite match description with the photos so better minds/eyes will probably be needed to guide you correctly.

Appears to have Farr radiator grilles and early intake in this 1972 photo (#201)

5310 also appears to have Farr radiator grilles in 1979 (#202?)

5310 has EMD radiators in 1985 (#204?)
Dates and roadnumbers apparently matter a lot here.  Matching a unit by date seems to be critical.  5310 as it appeared in the 1985 photo would be my personal choice.

SD38-2  2971-2976
This photo certainly seems to match the #207 illustration on the Mark4 site.

This one I have some confidence in...
