I see a GE 44 tonner there in the background, yet another Kato critter chassis project :
Out of curiosity, have you found a use for that Tomix chassis yet? I ask because I bought sight unseen a few of them knowing the way availability of Japanese models are and haven't found a good use for them unfortunately.

I have, but it's one the tomix chassis was designed for. I'm going to try and do an IC traction motor by kitbashing the tomix version. I had thought I might use the mechanism for something else but I haven't quite got that worked out yet.
