I've been a member for at least ten years and never experienced this. I posted a minute ago, and tried to post to a second thread and got a message that said my last post was 90 seconds ago, and that I had to wait to post again. Huh? Is this something new? Am I in the penalty box and don't know it?

I've had it happen before, it's an anti-spam algorithm to keep spammers at bay.

I get those 3-4 times a week.

If you type with only one finger on your device it’s much easier to avoid the 90 second delay. 😁

I get hit with the 90 second thing a couple times each time I log in, guess I need to slow down.

Well, I appreciate the anti-spam aspect. But I went back an hour later and reposted the boinged post and it, again, didn't show up.

That is unusual.  As the others have said, the "90 second rule" has been around as long as I've been here, and gets me now and then.  But I've always been able to post after waiting.

I run into this "time out" too.  Not sure how cell phone forum browsing  behaves, but when I access the forum on my PC's browser, once the 90-seconds thing pops out, regardless how long I wait, when I try to click on the "post" button again it does nothing. The message is not posted.  I have to refresh the web page, then the "post" button will actually post the massage.

IMO, 90 seconds is a bit long for thwarting spammers (while not annoying regulars).
