Wow, well.... that wiring thread is useful.   

But I'm still looking for insight on how the body is held together and if you can get things like the cab glass out, and if anybody has stripped one.  I simply painted over my Intermountain units, it actually worked on both an F-unit and an SD45-2.

I know the hand rails are glued on - I want to try and mask them off and paint them on my C&O units to get rid of the translucent look.
